It is possible that your professor put the textbook for your class "on reserve" behind the circulation desk. Course Reserves are set up to allow students to share crucial texts. You may use the book inside the library and make photocopies to take with you, but the book may not be removed from the premises. Students must submit their OneCard at Circulation to borrow a reserve item.

Students, Faculty, and Staff may use the following methods for saving files on O'Toole Library Lab Desktop Computers.
- The "H" Drive:
Faculty and students have access to network based file storage from any lab or classroom connected computer or from your campus office. It is your personal storage space on our file servers. One can access this space from any computer lab on campus, and network drives are backed up every night, making this your best choice in case data recovery is needed. Simply save your files on the "H" drive under your username. - A USB Flash drive is a useful and portable method for saving files, especially if you want to work on them off-campus. We recommend that students put their name on their Flash drive, as they are often left behind in Library Lab computers.
- A handful of Library Lab computers still have working 3.5" Floppy Disk Drives. Not recommended, but always an option.
